Core Services

• CBCAP funds support the Vermont Parent Child Center Network (VPCCN). The funding is sub-awarded to fifteen community-based organizations that utilize the Strengthening Families Approach including the Five Protective Factors Framework, with the concomitant goals of preventing or reducing child maltreatment/abuse and family stress and strengthening and supporting families by increasing resilience and stability. CBCAP funding provides concrete supports for families including assistance with rent, food, fuel, transportation, diapers, and medical costs. Vermont uses dollars from the State General Fund for the CBCAP match.
